Hi, I main a frost DK. Recently I've been using a frostscythe build with somewhere around 50% critical chance. (For purposes of discussion, exclude the frost spec proc that gives a guaranteed critical frostscythe or obliterate) What I'm seeing time and time again is large repeated clumps of criticals or non-criticals. 8 non-criticals in a row, or 6 criticals in a row. This regularly happens and I observe it much more often than largely homogeneous strings of scattered/mixed criticals and non-criticals. From experience with my 50% critical setup, I can guess if the next frostscythe will be a critical or non-critical with roughly 70% accuracy given the outcome of the 3 previous frostscythes (which happen to all be the same outcome FAR more often than a proper RNG should produce). I also observed the same behavior with Runic Empowerment (over a sample size of a few months as frost DK) and a just-below 50% chance for Frost Strike to recharge a rune. Usually I get 3 procs in a row, then 4-8 frost strikes with no rune recharge. This also suggests that the RNG is skewed to the negative considering a "fair" (actually around 46% here, close enough) coin toss shouldn't produce such results regularly. If that happened once an hour, I could accept retorts such as "you're just unlucky". Right now it happens way too often for that. Thanks! For more details: Whiteboard Overview Video
